Neshamah +Care

Our Judaism calls us to partner with God to make the world a better place. This is called tikkun olam, fixing the world. Our community comes together to work on projects that are meaningful to us and help others. Past projects have included gardening with and for residents of Romero House, gathering toys for donation and participating in Toy Mountain on CTV News, making sandwiches to stock Veahavta's street van to feed the homeless, and supporting Temple Sinai in its sponsoring of a Syrian refugee family.

Through the combination of our congregations and communities, Kol Ami's Social Action committee will continue this very important work.
